Remington is a Richmond-based entrepreneur, real estate professional, and founder of Capital Motor Vault.
As the founder of Rand Properties, Remington has spent more than 14 years helping people find and create spaces that inspire them. His passion for real estate ultimately led him to acquire and reimagine a historic warehouse in the heart of Richmond, where the vision for Capital Motor Vault began to take shape. A lifelong automotive enthusiast, Remington saw an opportunity to create something the city was missing: a thoughtfully designed destination where exceptional vehicles could be preserved and appreciated while bringing together collectors, enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, and creatives through a shared sense of community.
Meet TOPHE
Tophe serves as Capital Motor Vault’s unofficial mascot and Chief Security Officer.
He is a loyal companion who approaches life with unwavering confidence and a complete disregard for obstacles, furniture, and occasionally common sense. While his appreciation for automobiles is largely theoretical, his dedication to snacks, naps, and greeting members is second to none. Around the vault, he’s proof that you don’t need perfect vision to know when you’ve found a great place to belong.

As General Manager of Capital Motor Vault, Melina helps lead the day-to-day operations, membership experience, and growth of the club.
Drawing on years of experience in communications, public relations, and brand development, she has built her career around connecting people, strengthening communities, and bringing ambitious ideas to life. At Capital Motor Vault, Melina works closely with members, partners, and the broader Richmond community to create an experience that is as much about connection as it is about automobiles. Her passion for thoughtful hospitality and community-building helps shape the culture that makes Capital Motor Vault unique.
